WPG are becoming more and more well known for offering a professional Children’s book printing service.
We were delighted to have recently printed this beautiful book for children’s author, Val Jones.
Children’s Book Printing – Bear: A Story of Autism and Difference
Bear: A Story of Autism and Difference was written to share information about autism with children and to encourage acceptance of autism and wider differences between each other.
Through the story, children learn about the challenges that Bear faces with daily living and how Bear might accidentally upset the other ‘bears,’ and also about Bear’s strengths, including knowledge about special areas of interest (for Bear this is dinosaurs) and noticing details.
Bear is gender-neutral and pronouns are not used so that the story can be accessible to anyone.
Although Bear: A Story of Autism and Difference is a picture book, it also offers a wider appeal for people of all ages in enhancing understanding of autism and encouraging acceptance, and also for universal acceptance of all ‘just as they are’.

Children’s Book Printing with WPG
Great feedback for our services is always good to receive, Val’s feedback to our children’s book printing service has us positively beaming!
Author, Val Jones says “Working with Welshpool Printing Group for self-publication has been brilliant through each step of the process.
From the initial stage of getting a quote, to having the processes of printing explained along with a tour of the site, to editing the finer details with the layout and finally upon collection of the printed books.
Everyone on the team that has been involved in the process has been so supportive.
The quality of the printing, paper, binding and cover make such a difference to the overall impact of the book, especially when people have the book in their hands, with this often being very positively commented on.”
