Our Foamex board printing is done using UV printing on large flat-bed printers. This ensures clear and vibrant prints with edge-to-edge HD quality. We use specially formulated UV inks cured by UV lights, allowing for fast turnaround times!
What types of foamex are there?
Foamex is available in 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm thicknesses. 3mm is suitable for indoor applications like retail signage and exhibition prints. 5mm can be used indoors or outdoors, depending on the needs, such as for construction signage or safety signs. 10mm is recommended for outdoor use, particularly for external retail signage. All three thicknesses can have added lamination including matt, gloss, anti-graffiti, and drywipe, at extra cost.
Is Foamex Waterproof?
Foamex is waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. However, we suggest laminating foamex board if being used outdoors to provide additional protection against weather and UV exposure. Our lamination options include Matt, Gloss, and Anti-Graffiti. Lamination not only shields the print from the elements but also protects against scuffs and scratches.
